Product Description
The Luo Bao NR-7 series fluoro-silicone resin products are newly developed products with national invention patents, led by our company in recent years through collaboration with Shandong universities using a three-in-one model of production, education, and research. Compared to traditional coatings, they offer excellent properties such as corrosion resistance, insulation (film with insulating properties), high and low temperature resistance, fire resistance, and wear resistance. Their corrosion mechanism differs from traditional electrochemical methods, alloy state changes, and electroplating techniques. They innovate the concept and mechanism of corrosion resistance, utilizing degraded organic fluoro-silicone polymers, capped with polyurethane (NCO), and pre-embedding multifunctional active groups in the chain segments. Under the presence of oxygen, they self-crosslink and form interpenetrating polymer networks (IPN), thereby filling the material surface with high-penetrating corrosion-resistant materials and filling the pits on the surface. The protective material then achieves a firm bond with the material, forming an impermeable dense layer, thus preventing oxygen and water from causing rust from entering the material surface. Additionally, some of the polymer molecular chains are grafted with short chains that have affinity for different materials, while others are grafted with corrosion-resistant molecular chains, achieving long-term and reliable corrosion resistance. The product has been sold in large quantities in both domestic and international markets for many years, with exports to South Korea for six years. It is widely used in South Korea's highways, gas station storage tanks, wastewater treatment plants, steel structure corrosion protection, drinking water pipelines, automotive, and shipbuilding industries.
Product Features
1) Good adhesion to the protected material ("0 level," i.e., high grade). The product has strong adhesion to polar materials (such as: steel, cement, wood, concrete, glass, etc.).
2) Excellent corrosion resistance. Tests and applications have shown that this product can withstand the common corrosive substances known today.
3) Excellent high and low temperature performance. Tested to withstand temperatures ranging from -50℃ to 200℃ (-50°F to 392°F), and can endure up to 300℃ for long-term use.
4) The coated surface after protection is bright and dense, and can create a glossy effect on the painted material even without surface treatment. When used as a primer, this feature can reduce the labor-intensive process of filling and smoothing.
5) High brushing efficiency. Each coat is about 40-80µm thick. If the brushing is even and there are no missed spots, the number of coats can be appropriately reduced. The operation is simple and versatile.
6) This product is suitable for various common painting techniques: spraying, dipping, rolling, brushing, etc. For interior wall corrosion prevention, it is recommended to use the spraying method.
7) Short construction time and high efficiency. Actual application shows that its construction efficiency far exceeds the currently used corrosion-resistant process for the interior of desulfurization towers, significantly reducing the construction cycle.
8) The rust-removing process is simple. The product allows for a slight relaxation (ST2 is sufficient) of surface treatment requirements. In cases of severe rust, it can be used in conjunction with a rust converter. After the rust converter to be painted has dried, simply apply this product. In many cases, the surface with mild rust can be treated directly, thus reducing the complicated rust removal process.
9) Once fully cured, the coating is non-toxic and harmless. After the coating is fully cured, it meets hygiene and safety standards and does not exhibit any physiological toxicity. It has already passed the Korean Drinking Water Hygiene Standard inspection.
