A plate condenser is a new type of high-efficiency condenser made up of a series of metal plates with a certain corrugated shape stacked together. These plates form thin rectangular channels between them for heat exchange. Plate heat exchangers are ideal for liquid-liquid and liquid-vapor heat exchange. They feature high heat exchange efficiency, low heat loss, compact and lightweight structure, small footprint, easy installation and cleaning, wide application, and long service life. In the same pressure loss, the footprint is one-third of that of a tubular heat exchanger, and the heat recovery rate can reach over 90%.
The plate-type condenser is composed of a set of corrugated metal plates with holes for the two heat transfer liquids to pass through. The metal plates are mounted in a frame with a fixed plate and an adjustable clamping plate on one side, and are secured with clamping bolts. Seal washers are fitted on the plates to seal the fluid channels and guide the fluids alternately into their respective channels.
