Plate-type condensers are a new type of high-efficiency condenser made up of a series of metal plates with a certain wavy shape stacked together. The thin rectangular channels between the plates facilitate heat exchange. Plate heat exchangers are ideal for liquid-liquid and liquid-vapor heat exchange. They feature high heat exchange efficiency, minimal heat loss, compact and lightweight structure, small footprint, easy installation and cleaning, wide application, and long service life. In the same pressure drop condition, their footprint is one-third of that of tubular heat exchangers, and the heat recovery rate can reach over 90%.
Plate-type condensers are composed of a series of corrugated metal plates with holes, allowing two fluids to pass through for heat transfer. The metal plates are mounted in a frame with a fixed plate and an adjustable clamp plate on one side, secured with clamping bolts. Sealing washers are fitted on the plates to seal the fluid channels and guide the fluids alternately into their respective channels.
