Plate-type condensers are a new type of high-efficiency condenser made up of a series of metal plates with a certain wavy shape. These plates create thin rectangular channels between them for heat exchange. Plate heat exchangers are ideal for liquid-liquid and liquid-vapor heat exchange. They feature high heat exchange efficiency, minimal heat loss, compact and lightweight structure, small footprint, easy installation and cleaning, wide application, and long service life. Under the same pressure drop, they occupy one-third of the area of tubular heat exchangers and can achieve a heat recovery rate of over 90%.

Plate-type condensers consist of a series of corrugated metal plates with holes for the two heat transfer liquids to pass through. The metal plates are mounted in a frame with a fixed plate and an adjustable clamping plate on one side, and are secured with clamping bolts. Seal washers are fitted to the plates, sealing the fluid channels while guiding the fluid to alternate channels.
