PE storage tanks have large volume and capacity. Although the material has low density and good flexibility, its rigidity is relatively poor. Therefore, when storing liquids with high specific gravity, the tank body is prone to expansion, necessitating the addition of reinforcing sleeves. There are generally three types of reinforcing sleeves: semi-enclosed reinforcing sleeves, fully enclosed reinforcing sleeves, and clamp reinforcing sleeves. If only conventional liquids like clean water are stored, a semi-enclosed reinforcing sleeve is sufficient. However, if the liquid temperature inside the tank exceeds 50°C or is used for storing chemicals (specific gravity greater than 1/1.2), a metallic fully enclosed reinforcing sleeve should be installed. The reinforcing sleeve must be tightly adhered to the tank body to prevent deformation.

3. Installation, operation, and maintenance of the equipment must be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of HG 20640-1997 Standard for Plastic Equipment of Chemical Industry (HG) HG20640-1997.
