Volume heat exchangers utilize the exchange of cold and hot fluids flowing over the surface of the heat storage material (filler) within the storage chamber to transfer heat. Shell and tube volume heat exchangers separate the cold and hot fluids by solid walls, transferring heat through these walls, hence also known as surface heat exchangers.
Volumetric heat exchangers can be categorized into three types based on different heat transfer methods: mixed-volume, storage-volume, and shell-and-tube volumetric heat exchangers.
Product Features:
A volumetric heat exchanger primarily composed of a vessel body, steam coil assembly, steam inlet and outlet, and hot and cold water inlet and outlet. To prevent corrosion on the outer surface of the vessel, a corrosion-resistant alloy layer is applied, followed by a paint layer. The original pipe box is removed, and the steam coil is directly connected to the outside via a flange. This novel design features a simple and reasonable structure, long service life, excellent heat exchange performance, and energy-saving characteristics, available in both horizontal and vertical configurations.
