Scope of Application: Suitable for anticorrosion protection of oil and gas transmission pipelines, water supply and drainage pipelines, underground cables, chemical industry, communication, harbors, ships, reservoir gate projects, etc. Product Features: The magnesium alloys produced by our company are made from high-quality raw materials, featuring a negative anode potential and a high amount of electrical discharge per unit mass, making them ideal sacrificial anode materials. They are suitable for cathodic protection of metallic structures in soil, freshwater, and seawater mediums, such as oil and gas pipelines, storage tanks, hot water exchangers, condensers, etc. The magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes are produced according to the national standard GB/T17731-2004 "Magnesium Alloys Sacrificial Anodes" and meet the design specifications for sacrificial anode cathodic protection of buried steel pipelines as per SY/T0019-97. This product has the following characteristics: (1) Low density, more negative potential, (2) High driving voltage for iron, low current efficiency, (3) Especially suitable for high resistivity mediums. (For resistivity greater than 100Ω·m, it is recommended to use strip magnesium anodes) Usage Precautions: Avoid impact with steel structures. When used in soil, they should be buried in low-lying and humid places. When used in soil, the anode must be placed in a filled packaging bag and buried. During installation, the distance between the pipeline and the anode, and the distance between anodes, should be no less than three meters, and the minimum should not be less than 0.3m. In dry soil areas, after placing the anode in the pit, the filled material should be thoroughly soaked with water before backfilling the soil to ensure the anode conducts electricity adequately.
