AY type oil pumps are available in two structural types: single-stage single-suction cantilever, two-stage single-suction cantilever, single-stage double-suction cantilever, single-stage double-suction twin-supported, and two-stage single-suction twin-supported. The pump casing is radially split, mounted with horizontal centerline support, and the pump's suction and discharge flanges are vertically upward. The shaft seal can be made of soft packing and is interchangeable with mechanical seals. The bearing housing is equipped with a set of radial ball bearings and a group of back-to-back thrust ball bearings, which are lubricated with light oil. For easy maintenance, the design does not require disassembly of the suction or discharge piping. An extended elastic pin coupling (or optional with an elastic diaphragm coupling) allows for easy removal of the impeller, bearings, and other components.

◇ The AY series centrifugal oil pumps are a re-designed and improved version based on the original Y-type oil pump

◇ The bearing components have been upgraded by replacing the original 35, 50, and 60 bearing bodies with 45, 55, and 70 bearing bodies, enhancing reliability.

◇ The hydraulic model at the hydraulic overflow section utilizes a high-efficiency and energy-saving pump, with an average efficiency 5~8% higher than that of the old Y-type oil pump.

The AY series oil pumps maintain the same structural design, installation dimensions, and performance parameters range as the old Y series pumps to ensure compatibility for upgrades and modifications of existing equipment.

High degree of generalization in components; standard parts are shared by several specifications of products.

◇ Selecting high-quality materials, primarily using types II and III, the bearing body and other parts are enhanced with cast steel and cast iron, providing favorable conditions for outdoor use in cold regions and marine applications.

◇ Bearings are available in three types: air-cooled, fan-cooled, and water-cooled, chosen based on the pump's varying operating temperatures. Fan-cooled is particularly suitable for areas with water scarcity or poor water quality.
