Boat Details
Overall length: 47.4 meters, beam: 20 meters, highest point of the ship's arch frame: 27.8 meters.
The hull consists of 3 decks, with the 1st and 2nd decks serving as cabins. The 2nd deck features a luxurious VIP cabin, and the 3rd deck is a lavish large platform, boasting the largest deck space on the Huangpu River.
The "Captain 5" was launched and put into operation in April 2010, specifically designed for the World Expo's sightseeing boats. With a semi-circular appearance reminiscent of the New Century Space Fortress, a striking UFO design, and an enchanting visual effect created by colorful lights and mist, the deck of the "Captain 5" extends outward significantly, the superstructure slopes inward in layers, and two longitudinal arches and eight transverse arches intertwine to form an integrated fortress-like structure. The hull is coated in silver-gray paint, shining brightly in the sunlight and exuding a futuristic vibe. The "Captain 5" boasts excellent stability, minimal vibration, and low noise, making it a standout feature.
