A plate-type condenser is a novel and efficient condenser made up of a series of metal plates with a certain corrugated shape stacked together. These plates form thin rectangular channels between them, facilitating heat exchange. Plate heat exchangers are ideal for heat exchange between liquid-liquid and liquid-vapor. They feature high heat exchange efficiency, low heat loss, compact and lightweight structure, small footprint, easy installation and cleaning, wide application, and long service life. Under the same pressure loss, the footprint is one-third of that of a tubular heat exchanger, and the heat recovery rate can reach over 90%.
The plate condenser is composed of a set of corrugated metal plates with holes, allowing two fluids for heat transfer to pass through. The metal plates are mounted in a frame with a fixed plate and an adjustable clamp plate on one side, secured with clamping bolts. Sealing washers are installed on the plates to seal the fluid channels and guide the fluids alternately into their respective channels.
