Ball Check Valve
Ball valves are widely used in the extraction, refining, processing, and pipeline transportation systems of oil, natural gas, coal, and ore; in chemical products and food production systems; in the power generation systems of hydropower, thermal power, and nuclear power; in urban and industrial water supply, drainage, heating, and gas supply systems; in agricultural irrigation and drainage systems; and in metallurgical production systems. They are an important mechanical product closely related to production construction, national defense construction, and people's livelihood. Ball valves are sealed in various pipeline systems to cut off or connect media flow, ensuring the media is transported to each designated point according to a predetermined program.
Product Details
Structural Features
(1) Low fluid resistance; full-bore ball valves have minimal flow resistance.
(2) Simple structure, compact, and lightweight.
(3) Tightly Sealed. It features two sealing surfaces, and currently, the sealing surface material for ball valves is plastic, which provides good sealing properties and can achieve a seal. It has also been used in vacuum systems.
(4) Easy to operate, quick to open and close; it takes only a 90° rotation from fully open to fully closed, making it convenient for long-distance control.
(5) Easy maintenance; the ball valve structure is simple, and the seals are generally movable, making disassembly and replacement quite convenient.
(6) When fully open or closed, the sealing surface of the ball and the valve seat is isolated from the medium. During passage of the medium, it does not cause the valve to seal.
