Flanged Ball Valve
Ball valves are widely used in the exploration, refining, processing, and pipeline transportation systems of oil, natural gas, coal, and ore; in chemical products and food production systems; in power generation systems for hydropower, thermal power, and nuclear power; in urban and industrial water supply, drainage, heating, and gas supply systems; in agricultural irrigation and drainage systems; and in metallurgical production systems. They are an important mechanical product closely related to production and construction, national defense construction, and people's livelihood. Ball valves are sealed in various pipeline systems to cut off or connect medium flow, ensuring that the medium is delivered to each designated point according to a predetermined program.
Product Details
Structural Features
(1) Low fluid resistance; full-bore ball valves have minimal flow resistance.
(2) Simple structure, compact, and lightweight.
(3) Tight. It has two sealing surfaces, and currently, the sealing surface material of the ball valve is plastic, which provides good sealing and can achieve a seal. It has also been used in vacuum systems.
(4) Easy to operate, quick to open and close; it takes only a 90° rotation from fully open to fully closed, making it convenient for long-distance control.
(5) Easy to maintain, the ball valve structure is simple, and the sealing rings are usually movable, making them easy to dismantle and replace.
(6) When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surface of the ball and valve seat is isolated from the medium. The medium passing through does not cause the valve to seal.
