Mica boards, as a high-performance industrial material, are mainly divided into two types: HP-5 hard quality muscovite mica boards and HP-8 hard quality phlogopite mica boards. They come in silver-white and golden hues, respectively, and exhibit excellent temperature resistance. Under continuous use, they can withstand temperatures up to 500℃ and 850℃, respectively, while under intermittent use, these temperatures can reach 850℃ and 1050℃. Mica boards are not only strong in bending and good for processing but also environmentally friendly with no smoke or odor when heated. They have excellent high-temperature insulation and electrical insulation properties, with the highest temperature resistance reaching up to 1000℃ and the voltage breakdown index as high as 20KV/mm. As a result, mica boards are widely used in various fields such as electricity, metallurgy, machinery, instruments, construction, and light industry. For instance, they are used for insulation and electrical insulation in household appliances like irons and hair dryers; for electrical protection in metallurgical and chemical industries with induction furnaces and injection molding machines; in the power industry, they are extensively used for electrical insulation and isolation in transformers and motors; and in the construction industry, mica boards are commonly used as roof insulation boards and fire-resistant panels, leveraging their excellent insulation and fire-resistant properties.
