Air-type busway is a type of busway. The air-type busway housing is made of high-strength cold-rolled steel, cold-rolled into a corrugated structure in one process. It not only has an aesthetically pleasing and generous appearance but also significantly enhances the mechanical strength of the busway and the thermal stability of the system, effectively solving the problem of long-span installation at construction sites. The air-type busway features a structure with a certain distance between conductors, phases, and the housing, enabling air insulation and also providing double insulation with insulating materials.
Air-type busway, primarily composed of the housing, insulating plug, and metal busbar, with the housing serving as dust-proof and protective functions. Ventilation holes are provided on the housing for heat dissipation. The internal busbar can be designed as a single or double rod per pole depending on the current size. If the housing is metallic, it also offers grounding protection. From an insulation perspective, sufficient distance should be maintained for safety; from a heat dissipation standpoint, enough space is required to dissipate heat, ensuring heat is released into the air through convection.
