
ZX Self-Priming Pump
The ZX Self-Priming Pump is a type of self-priming centrifugal pump, featuring a compact structure, easy operation, simple maintenance, and strong self-priming capabilities. No bottom valve is required in the pump's inlet piping; simply inject liquid into the pump body when in use. Liquid can be directly injected into the pump body through the filling port of the pump casing. The stored liquid in the ZX Self-Priming Pump should be above the upper edge of the impeller. Do not start the pump when the stored liquid is insufficient, as it will not operate normally and may easily damage the mechanical seal.
The ZX self-priming pump features an axial return fluid pump body structure. After the pump starts normally, it simultaneously draws in the liquid stored in the suction chamber and air from the suction pipeline, thoroughly mixing them in the impeller. Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid, carrying the gas, flows outward along the edge of the vortex casing, forming a white foam band of a certain thickness and a high-speed rotating liquid at the impeller's outer edge. The gas-liquid mixture then enters the gas-liquid separation chamber via a diffuser. Here, due to the sudden drop in flow rate, the gas is separated from the gas-liquid mixture and continues to rise and exit through the pump body outlet. The degassed liquid returns to the storage chamber and re-enters the impeller through the return holes, mixing with the gas inhaled from the suction pipeline again. As this process repeats, the air in the suction pipeline continually diminishes, until the intake gas is fully drawn in, completing the self-priming process and commencing normal operation.
