Reinforced Macadam Mat is a reinforced three-dimensional geotextile mat, formed by extruding three-dimensional polyester material onto the surface of a machine-woven hexagonal double twisted steel wire mesh. The steel wire is galvanized with Galfan (5% aluminum-zinc alloy + rare earth elements, meeting EN10244-2, CLASS standards) for corrosion protection, featuring superior characteristics to EN10223-3 standards. This synthetic material combines the perfect anti-erosion properties of geotextile mats, offering higher mechanical tensile strength and stronger erosion resistance. It is applied in road and railway surface, subgrade drainage, with excellent permeability, not hindering slope water and soil exchange, and is frost-proof, ensuring the stability of the project.
Key characteristics of reinforced macadam pads in actual slope protection applications:
Before the turf has grown, it can protect the land surface from erosion by wind and rain.
2. Can firmly maintain even distribution of grass seeds on the slope, preventing loss due to wind and rain erosion.
3. Black net padding can absorb heat in large quantities, enhance soil moisture, promote seed germination, and extend the growth period of plants.
4. Due to its rough surface, countless eddies are formed on the surface of the mat by wind and water flow, thereby creating a damping effect, causing the carried materials to settle in the mat.
5. The composite protective layer formed after plant growth can withstand the scouring of high water levels and strong currents (can endure 3-4 m/s within 2 days, and 5-6 m/s within 4-5 hours).
6. Alternative slope protection materials for concrete, asphalt, and cobblestone, used for road, railway, river, embankment, and hillside slope protection.
7. Can significantly reduce the cost of construction, being 1/7th the cost of C15 concrete and dry-blocked stone slope, and 1/8th the cost of bonded stone slope.
8. Upon laying on sandy terrain, it prevents dune migration, effectively enhances surface roughness, increases surface sedimentation, alters the physical and chemical properties of the surface, and improves the local ecological environment.
