Galvanized wire is twisted once in one direction and woven into a hexagonal mesh (six-eyes) to form cages, also known as stone cages and pads. Both surfaces are coated with metal surface coating and PVC/PE. The diameter of the metal wire used varies according to the size of the hexagon. The production process involves weaving, cutting, sewing, and combines the stone cage and pad. The stone cages and pads are supplied in a folded state.
Product characteristics of gabion mesh materials:
1. Gabion mesh. Just throw a stone into the cage and seal it.
2. Gabion construction is simple and does not require special skills.
3. Gabion mesh boasts strong resistance to natural erosion, corrosion resistance, and the ability to withstand harsh weather conditions.
4. Gabion nets can withstand a wide range of deformation but still collapse.
5. The silt and vegetation produced between the stones in the Gabion cages blend seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment.
6. Gabion mesh has excellent permeability, preventing damage caused by hydrostatic pressure.
7. Gabion nets save on transportation costs. They can be folded for transport and assembled on-site.
Galvanized wire mesh applications: Embankment protection, river and flood control, spillways, dam and guide banks, rockfall protection, soil erosion prevention, soil structure, bridges, coastal protection projects, port protection works, retaining walls, slope protection.
