Tubular radiatorAlso known as tube-in-tubeCoolerA shell-and-tube heat exchanger with the wall enclosed within the shell serving as the heat transfer surface. Depending on the chosen compensation method, the tube-shell heat exchangers can be categorized into four types: fixed tube sheet heat exchangers, floating head heat exchangers, U-tube heat exchangers, and packed gland heat exchangers.
Each tube of the U-shaped radiator is bent into a U-shape and fixed in place on the same side cylinder. Each tube can expand freely to relieve welding stress. The characteristic of the U-tube heat exchanger is that the tube beams can freely expand and contract, not simply compensating for welding stress due to the temperature difference in the housing. The tube side is a double-pass process with the largest volume. It has good thermal conductivity, strong operational pressure capacity, can be accessed from the housing, and has a simple maintenance and cleaning structure, with low cost.
The U-shaped tube heat exchanger has a simple structure, low price, and strong pressure-bearing capacity. It is suitable for applications where there is a significant temperature difference between the tube and shell walls, or where the shell-side medium is prone to scaling and requires cleaning, and where floating head or fixed tube plate types are not suitable. It is particularly suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, and highly corrosive materials that flow inside the tubes and are not prone to scaling.
