Screw blade film evaporators are highly adaptable evaporators, suitable for materials with high viscosity, heat sensitivity, and those prone to crystallization and scaling.

Composed mainly of a heating jacket and a scraper, the jacket is connected to a heating steam supply. The scraper is mounted on a rotatable shaft, maintaining a minimal gap between the scraper and the inner wall of the heating jacket. Scrapers come in fixed and rotor types; the former has a gap of 0.5 to 1.5mm with the jacket's inner wall, while the latter's gap varies with the rotational speed of the rotor.

It consists of an electric motor, reducer, separator cylinder, fabricator, gas-liquid separator, evaporator body, rotor, scraper, and bottom flange.
