
A bend pipe fixed cone valve is a valve with an inverted cone plug valve core structure, hence also known as a cone valve or energy dissipation valve. It is primarily used for bypass valves in hydraulic turbine generators, free discharge valves, and continuous flow control, and is also suitable for agricultural irrigation and similar applications.
Operating Principle
The bent pipe fixed conical valve adjusts flow by changing the distance between the movable valve sleeve and the fixed conical body. The annular space between the sleeve and the cone is used for discharge, and the sleeve is moved forward and backward along the flow direction by a screw drive to regulate the flow. When fully open, the flow coefficient can reach above 0.85.
