
A plunger metering pump is a special volumetric pump that can meet the needs of various stringent process requirements, primarily used for transferring liquids, especially corrosive ones.
Working Principle
The plunger-type metering pump directly吸入 and 排出 working medium through the reciprocating motion of the plunger. As the plunger moves inward, the chamber's volume decreases, and the liquid is pushed out of the pump; when the plunger moves outward, the chamber's volume increases, allowing the liquid to be吸入 into the pump. By continuously repeating this reciprocating action, the plunger pump can continuously convey liquid.

Flow Regulation: Flow can be infinitely adjusted from 0-99%, maintaining a constant flow rate irrespective of the discharge pressure.
Applicable Mediums: Suitable for high-viscosity mediums; not applicable for conveying corrosive slurries and hazardous chemicals._
Accuracy and Pressure: Measurement accuracy up to ±1%, pressure up to 350 MPa, flow rate remains nearly unchanged during pressure variation at the outlet.

Structure Composition
The plunger metering pump is mainly composed of three parts: the motor, the transmission box, and the cylinder body. The transmission box components include the worm gear mechanism, the stroke adjustment mechanism, and the crank and connecting rod mechanism; the cylinder body components include the pump head, the suction valve assembly, the discharge valve assembly, the plunger, and the stuffing box gasket.
Common Types
Piston metering pumps come in two main types: valveless and valve pumps. Valve pumps control the flow of fluids in and out through the opening and closing of valves, while valveless pumps rely on their internal special design to measure and transport fluids.
