Channel Gate is an industrial equipment used to cut off water flow within a channel and control fluid movement. It is mainly made of stainless steel or carbon steel coated with epoxy resin paint, and features rubber soft sealing. It is characterized by its lightweight, flexible operation, corrosion resistance, non-rusting, easy installation and maintenance, and reliable sealing.
Structure Composition
The channel gate is primarily composed of the gate leaf and the embedded part. The gate leaf includes the load-bearing structure, running support, arm, hinge, water stop, and lifting lugs; the embedded part includes the track, hinge seat, water stop seat, corner guard, etc., which require secondary pouring and anchoring.
Application Fields
Channel gates are widely used in waterworks, sewage plants, irrigation and drainage, flood control, oil, chemical, metallurgical, environmental protection, power, ponds, rivers, and other engineering projects, mainly for cutting off, regulating flow, and controlling water levels.
Drive Method
The channel gate drives are versatile, including handwheel, hand-crank, and dual-handlight types, suitable for clean water, wastewater, and seawater mediums.
