
Double-plate pneumatic ventilation butterfly valves are devices used for regulating flow or cutting off gas mediums, primarily applied in industrial ventilation and dust removal, heating networks and boiler rooms, environmental simulation laboratories, and equipment testing stations. Their design features include compact structure, light weight, easy installation, low flow resistance, high flow capacity, and reliable operation with low failure rate and long service life.
Working Principle
The two-way pneumatic ventilation butterfly valve is driven by a pneumatic actuator. Upon receiving a control signal, the actuator drives the valve rod to rotate, causing the butterfly plate to turn within the pipeline. The initial position of the butterfly plate is set according to actual requirements. When the butterfly plate rotates to 90° with the valve body, the valve is fully open; when it rotates to 0° or 180° with the valve body, the valve is closed.
Structural Features
The double-plate pneumatic ventilation butterfly valve features a new structural design with a mid-line butterfly plate and short structural steel plate welding, featuring no linkage or bolt components internally, thus avoiding the impact of high-temperature expansion and ensuring reliable operation with a low failure rate. Additionally, it offers various sealing options including elastic sealing, external torque sealing, and pressure-filled sealing, catering to different working condition requirements.
