Underground natural gas double vent ball valve is a valve specifically designed for buried polyethylene (PE) pipelines, primarily used for cutting off and conveying gas mediums, featuring a double vent structure to ensure pipeline safety. The following are its core features:
Structure and Principle
Utilizing a full-welded structure, it eliminates the leakage risk associated with traditional flange connections, ensuring more reliable sealing performance. The dual exhaust design features an exhaust pipe on each side of the valve stem, allowing for quick opening or closing with a 90° manual rotation of the operation cap. The operating torque is low and maintenance is convenient.
Materials and Applicability
The valve body is made of PE100-RC material, in compliance with National Standard GB/T15558.3-2008. It is suitable for media such as natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas, with a working temperature range of -20℃ to 50℃ and a pressure rating up to 0.8MPa.
Safety Design
The double-breeching structure can rapidly release pipeline pressure in emergencies, reducing risks. The valve is directly buried underground, allowing for operation with a ground-level handle to open or close, thereby minimizing maintenance costs and enhancing construction efficiency.
Maintain and lifespan
Suggest a maintenance check every three months; the design life spans up to 50 years (under no artificial damage). The connection method utilizes electrofusion or thermal fusion technology, offering high compatibility with the PE piping system.
