I. Product Introduction

The ADHXF-I型 all-weather breathing valve is a safety device installed on the top of atmospheric storage tanks. It maintains the pressure within the tanks at a normal level, reducing evaporation losses of volatile liquids inside the tanks, and protecting them from damage caused by overpressure or vacuum.

Section II: Working Principle

The ADHXF-I type all-weather breathing valve is installed on the top of tanks or equipment, not only maintaining the pressure balance of the tank to prevent damage during overpressure and vacuum conditions, but also reducing oxidation and loss of the medium inside the tank.

When the pressure inside the canister drops below the negative vacuum set pressure of the breathing valve, atmospheric pressure lifts the vacuum valve disc, injecting air into the canister to prevent further pressure drop, thus avoiding the collapse of the storage tank or equipment.

When the pressure inside the can exceeds the exhaust pressure set by the breathing valve, the pressure valve is lifted by the gas, allowing gas to be expelled from the can, preventing the pressure inside from rising further.

The 5 grades required by SY/T0511.1-2010 all have gravity-assisted valve opening methods for the breathing valves.

In API 2000, the typical set pressure range for gravity breathing valves is -4.3 KPa to +6.9 KPa, while the set pressure for spring-loaded breathing valves must exceed this range.
