I. Product Overview
The ADHXF-VIII(Z) Type Flanged (Fire-Resistant) Single-Stage Valve is a safety device located at the top of atmospheric storage tanks. It maintains the tank's pressure at a normal level, protecting it from damage caused by vacuum.
Its features include the ability to connect to a nitrogen pipeline, to inhale nitrogen to compensate for pressure loss in the storage tank.
2. Working Principle
The ADHXF-VIII(Z) type single suction valve with a connection (fire-retardant) is installed at the top of storage tanks or equipment, which not only maintains pressure balance in the tank but also ensures the tank is protected from damage under negative vacuum.
When the internal pressure of the cylinder falls below the set pressure of the single-acting valve, the nitrogen being introduced will lift the vacuum valve disk, replenishing nitrogen into the cylinder to prevent pressure from dropping further, thereby avoiding the collapse of the storage tank or equipment.

SY/T0511.1-2010 - Section 1 of "Petroleum Storage Tank Accessories - Part 1: Breathing Valves" specifies the opening pressure for breathing valves on atmospheric (including internal pressure) petroleum storage tanks as follows:

In API 2000, the typical set pressure range for gravity breathing valves is -4.3 KPa to +6.9 KPa, while the set pressure for spring-loaded breathing valves must exceed this range.

6. Carbon steel valve bodies are coated with anti-rust primer on the inside and outside, with an epoxy topcoat applied to the exterior; stainless steel valve bodies undergo sandblasting treatment.Plastic valve bodies are subject to polishing treatment.
7. Standard wooden boxes are used for uniform packaging.
