I. Product Introduction

The ADZHQ-B-2 Type Large Cylinder Storage Tank Flame arrester is a safety device installed at the top of atmospheric storage tanks to prevent the spread of flames from flammable gases and liquid vapors, and to guard against backfire that could cause an explosion.

The ADZHQ-B-2 type large-diameter cylinder fire damper is cast, featuring a large cylinder diameter, low pressure drop, high reliability, and easy disassembly. It is commonly paired with breath valves, elbows, and rain caps.

2. Operating Principle

The core of the ADZHQ-B-2 type large-drum fire arrester is the corrugated flame arrester plate, composed of a type of stainless steel material that allows gases to pass through, featuring numerous tiny channels or gaps. The requirement is for the gaps or channels in the corrugated flame arrester plate to be as small as possible. Consequently, upon the flame entering the fire arrester, it is divided into many small flame streams by the flame-retarding elements. Due to the heat transfer effect (cooling of the gas) and the wall effect, the flame streams are extinguished.
