I. Product Introduction

The ADZHQ-B-3 drawer-type fire arrester is a safety device installed at the top of atmospheric storage tanks to prevent the spread of flames from flammable gases and liquid vapors, as well as to avoid backfire that could lead to explosions.

The ADZHQ-B-3 drawer-type fire damper is cast, featuring a large cylinder diameter, low pressure drop, high reliability, and easy disassembly. It is commonly used with breathing valves, elbows, and rain caps.

II. Working Principle

The core of the ADZHQ-B-3 drawer-type fire damper is the corrugated fire damper plate, composed of a type of stainless steel material that allows gas passage and has numerous tiny channels or gaps. The requirement is for the gaps or channels in the corrugated fire damper plate to be as small as possible. Consequently, when flames enter the fire damper, they are divided into many small flame streams by the fire-retarding elements. Due to the heat transfer effect (gas cooling) and the wall effect, the flame streams are extinguished.
