I. Product Introduction
The sight glass is composed of connected flanges, glass cylinders, bolts, and sealing washers. The glass cylinder is held in place between two connecting flanges with bolts, forming a complete sight glass. It features a rational structure, easy operation, good sealing performance, high work efficiency, alkali and acid resistance, non-toxicity, and aesthetically pleasing and sturdy design. It is widely used in industries such as chemicals, metallurgy, dye, food, sugar production, winemaking, ceramics, and environmental protection. Quick-install sight glasses are used for solid flow control before draining or sludge removal, on liquid pipelines like cooling water to observe fluid flow.
Vases are available in various types to accommodate different working conditions, including shatter-resistant models with protective grids and tubes, corrosion-resistant options with carbon steel lined with PTFE, PVC, and PTFE flanges, as well as explosion-proof models with double glass cylinders.

IV. Installation Precautions
1. Ensure the sight glass bracket is flat and smooth, the sealing gasket between the lens and the sight glass bracket is installed flat, the gasket is undamaged and free of grease. Confirm the correct installation of the sight glass and the cover before tightening the screws, then tighten them slowly.
2. The sight glasses must operate within the allowable pressure range; otherwise, safe operation cannot be guaranteed. The sodium-calcium glass has an allowable temperature of 150°C, with a rapid temperature change range of 120°C to 20°C. The borosilicate glass has an allowable temperature of 280°C, with a rapid temperature change range of 230°C to 20°C. The quartz glass has an allowable temperature of 800°C, with a rapid temperature change range of 500°C to 20°C.
