Product Overview
The XBD-L(W) fire pump is available in two types: single-stage single-suction and multi-stage segmented single-suction. It is designed for conveying clean water or liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water, free of solid particles. Primarily used for boosting water pressure in fire protection systems, it can also be applied in industrial and mining water supply and drainage. The flow rate range is 5~80L/s, the pressure range is 0.2~2.25MPa, the power range is 1.5~200kW, and the diameter range is Φ50~Φ250mm.
Product Features
The pump features a compact structure, small size, and aesthetically pleasing design. Its vertical structure ensures minimal footprint for installation, with the center of gravity coinciding with the center of the pump feet, thereby enhancing the pump's operational stability and lifespan.
2. Both pump suction and discharge ports are in the horizontal direction, simplifying pipeline connections.
3. The multi-level design can be configured to meet requirements, with the inlet and outlet options for installation in the same direction or at 90, 180, or 270 degrees to accommodate various connection scenarios.
4. Pump pressure can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of pump stages and cutting the impeller diameter to meet requirements, without altering the installed footprint—an advantage not offered by other pump types.
5. The pump rotor features a smaller degree of rotation, ensuring smooth operation, low vibration, minimal noise, and a long service life.
● Primary Application
XBD-L(W) fire pumps are primarily used for boosting water pressure in fire system pipelines. They are also suitable for industrial and urban water supply and drainage, high-rise building water pressure boosting, long-distance water transport, heating, bathroom, boiler water circulation for heating and cooling, air conditioning refrigeration system water supply, and equipment matching.
● Model Significance

Structural Description
The XBD-L(W) type single-suction, single-stage fire pump consists of two parts: the motor and the pump, which are coaxial. The pump structure includes the pump body, impeller, pump cover, and mechanical seal, among other components. The pump's inlet and outlet are on the same horizontal axis and have the same diameter, making it extremely convenient for installation and removal, with minimal footprint. The pump features an installation base for easy mounting and enhanced stability during operation. The pump employs mechanical seals, ensuring reliable sealing with no leakage. The pump's axial force is balanced by a balancing ring on the impeller. The pump's inlet and outlet flanges are designed for a pressure of 1.6 MPa, facilitating convenient pipeline matching.
The XBD-L(W) single-suction multi-stage fire pump consists of two parts: the motor and the pump. The motor is a Y, Y2 type three-phase asynchronous motor. The pump and motor are connected by a coupling, with a rigid overall connection, which requires no adjustment during operation. The pump is composed of the stator section and the rotor section. The stator section includes the inlet section, middle section, guide vanes, outlet section, stuffing box, and other components. To prevent stator wear, sealing rings and balancing sleeves are installed on the stator, which can be replaced with spare parts if worn out. The rotor section consists of the shaft, middle wheel, balancing drum, etc. The lower end of the rotor is equipped with a water-lubricated bearing, and the upper end has an angular contact ball bearing. The majority of the pump's axial force is borne by the balancing drum, while the remaining small portion of residual shaft downward force is supported by the angular contact ball bearing. The junction surfaces of the inlet section, middle section, and outlet section are sealed using paper gaskets that are tightened for密封, and the user can select as needed.
