The sesame black stone features a deep black base, with fine silver-gray crystals evenly distributed on its surface. These crystals act as a natural embellishment, bestowing the stone with unique texture and feel. Its appearance is dignified and elegant, neither monotonous nor lacking in grace. II. Physical Properties
- Hardness and Strength: The sesame black stone has a very high hardness, second only to China Black, with compressive strength exceeding 200MPa. It can withstand frequent foot traffic and vehicle碾压, making it suitable for use in public places with high pedestrian traffic.
- Wear and corrosion resistance: The stone surface is dense, highly wear-resistant, and boasts excellent resistance to acids and alkalis as well as weathering. Even when exposed to outdoor environments for extended periods, it maintains its appearance integrity and color stability.
- Water Absorption and Frost-Resistant Properties: Low water absorption rate, typically below 0.5%, which endows it with excellent frost-heave resistance. In cold northern regions, it is less prone to cracking or flaking even after repeated freezing and thawing during winter.
- Non-slip and easy to maintain: The surface processing of sesame black stone is diverse, including fire-blasted surface and litchi surface, offering excellent non-slip properties, and with low daily maintenance costs, it only requires a simple rinse with clean water to stay clean.
