I. Physical Properties
- Grain and Structure: Sesame white granite features a granular structure with fine, medium, or coarse grain sizes. The grains are uniform and dense with small voids (porosity typically 0.3%~0.7%), low water absorption (usually 0.15%~0.46%), and excellent frost resistance.
- Hardness and Strength: Mohs hardness approximately 6, density between 2.63~2.75 g/cm³, compressive strength up to 100~300 MPa (fine-grained granite can exceed 300 MPa), flexural strength typically 10~30 MPa, excellent durability and resistance to weathering.
- Surface Texture: The natural surface is smooth and even, but the texture can be enhanced with processes like荔枝grain or fire-burned grain, which improve anti-slip properties and visual depth.
