I. Physical Properties
- Grain and Structure: Sesame white granite features a granular structure with fine, medium, or coarse grain sizes. The grains are even and dense with small voids (porosity typically ranges from 0.3% to 0.7%), low water absorption (usually between 0.15% and 0.46%), and excellent frost resistance.
- Hardness and Strength: Mohs hardness of about 6, density between 2.63~2.75g/cm³, compressive strength up to 100~300MPa (fine-grained granite can exceed 300MPa), flexural strength typically 10~30MPa, excellent durability and resistance to weathering.
- Surface Texture: The natural surface is smooth and even, but can be enhanced with textures like lichee grain or burnished finish to improve slip resistance and visual depth.
