I. Physical Properties
- Grain and Structure: Sesame white granite features a granular structure in fine, medium, or coarse grain sizes, with uniform and dense grains, small voids (porosity typically 0.3%~0.7%), low water absorption (usually 0.15%~0.46%), and excellent frost resistance.
- Hardness and Strength: Mohs hardness of about 6, density between 2.63~2.75 g/cm³, compressive strength up to 100~300 MPa (fine-grained granite can exceed 300 MPa), flexural strength typically 10~30 MPa, with excellent durability and resistance to weathering.
- Surface Texture: The natural surface is smooth and even, but can be enhanced with textures like lichee grain or burnished finish to improve slip resistance and visual depth.
