
The CARX Composite Exhaust Valve is a self-developed composite exhaust valve in our country, which is an improved combination of the Float Ball and Float Ball Lever Exhaust Valves. Made of stainless steel, it is mainly used in industrial pipelines for municipal water supply and drainage systems, chemical, petrochemical, and other industries.
Structural Features
The valve body is cylindrical, containing components such as a stainless steel float ball, valve stem, and valve disc. It is connected using flange connections (DN50~DN200) or threaded connections (DN25~DN32). The core structure combines a stainless steel float ball with a lever mechanism, which achieves automatic exhaust and intake functions through the buoyant force of water on the float ball.
Working Principle
Massive venting: During the first filling of the pipe, the float ball device initiates massive venting. Once the air is exhausted, the float rises to close the valve disc.
Trace Exhaust: During normal operation, a small amount of air accumulation leads to water level drop, which triggers the float ball to activate the lever mechanism to open a small hole for exhaust.
Vacuum Protection: In case of negative pressure, the cap quickly opens to intake air, preventing pipeline damage.
Applicable Scenarios
Installed at the pump outlet or high points of the distribution pipeline, it removes trapped air to enhance water transfer efficiency.
Suitable for pipe systems with nominal diameters of DN25 to DN200 and nominal pressures of 1.0 to 1.6 MPa.
Material and Connection
Body materials include stainless steel, gray cast iron, and ductile iron, with stainless steel offering superior corrosion resistance.
Small bore (DN25~DN32) is connected by thread, while large bore (DN50~DN200) is connected by flange.
