The BFDS101X piston-type multi-functional water pump control valve is a new type of hydraulic control valve, primarily used in the outlet piping of water supply systems in high-rise buildings and residential areas. It can replace three devices: electric butterfly (gate) valves, check valves, and water hammer eliminators. It achieves automatic slow opening, quick closing, and slow closing functions without requiring an additional electric control system.

Structural Features

‌Dual-chamber, dual-valve design: Rapidly closes 90% after pump shutdown to prevent medium backflow, followed by a gradual closure of the remaining 10% to eliminate destructive water hammer.‌

Streamlined valve body: Resistance loss reduced by over 50% compared to similar products, with a resistance loss of only 0.7m at a flow rate of 2m/s for DN200 valves.

Piston cylinder structure: The valve plate opening height can reach half the diameter of the flow opening, featuring a large flow area, low flow resistance, and excellent energy-saving performance.

Functional Advantages

‌No electrical control system required: The automatic opening and closing action is achieved by utilizing the water pressure difference during the start-up and shutdown of the pump.‌

‌Anti-Backflow and Water Hammer: Effectively prevents pump-in and pump-out water hammer; the peak pressure of water hammer during shutdown typically does not exceed 1.3 times the working pressure.‌

Low maintenance cost: One valve replaces three, reducing maintenance workload.

Large Diameter Pipe: Recommended for pipes with an outer diameter of 450mm and above; high strength and smooth operation.
