The 900X Emergency Shutdown Valve is a hydraulic control valve used in parallel fire and domestic water supply systems, primarily for automatically adjusting the water supply direction. In the event of a fire, the valve closes the main valve through a guide valve, shutting off domestic water to ensure fire supply; upon pressure recovery after the fire is extinguished, the valve automatically opens to restore domestic water supply.

Structure and Material

The valve is composed of main valve, needle valve, conduit, etc., with body materials including cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, etc., sealed with nitrile rubber, and nominal pressure ranging from 2.5MPa.

Operating Principle

Fire Trigger: When the fire-fighting water system detects a drop in pressure, the guide valve closes to shut off the main valve and interrupt the domestic water supply.

Pressure Restoration: After the fire is extinguished, the system pressure recovers, and the main valve is opened by the guide valve to restore domestic water supply.

Pressure Regulation: Set the outlet pressure by adjusting the pilot valve spring.

Installation and Maintenance

Install a filter in front of the valve and ensure the water flow direction aligns with the arrow on the valve body.

Regular inspections of seals and filters are required for routine maintenance.
