Application Scope
The eddy current separator is a newly developed product independently researched and manufactured by our company. It is widely used for separating conductors and non-conductors with significant density differences in waste materials, such as metal (e.g., aluminum, copper) and non-metallic materials. It is commonly applied in industries such as metal recycling from waste, sorting at scrap yards, and electronic waste sorting.
Structural Principle
Eddy current separators are a sorting technique that utilizes the varying magnetic induction intensities produced by the conductivity of different materials. The sorting principle involves a magnetic system roller composed of magnets rotating at high speed, generating an alternating magnetic field. When conductive metals pass through this magnetic field, they induce eddy currents within themselves. These eddy currents produce an alternating magnetic field that is opposite in direction to the field generated by the magnetic roller. Non-ferrous metals (such as aluminum, copper, etc.) are then ejected in the opposite direction of the conveyance, separating from other non-metallic materials like glass and plastic, thereby achieving the sorting goal.
