GFV Vertical Flow Aeration Unit
GFV Type Air Floating Equipment Description
The GFV-type flotation equipment operates on principles similar to other flotation devices, but undergoes significant structural changes. The main function of the equipment's jet mixing unit is to achieve effective mixing, with the primary objective being to extend the reaction time in the subsequent reaction tank.
Working Principle
The flotation process involves introducing air into wastewater to create a dissolved air water, which then forms into tiny bubbles that act as carriers. Pollutants such as emulsified oil and fine suspended particles in the wastewater adhere to these bubbles, rising to the surface along with them to form a foam (a mixture of water, particles, and oil). This process collects the foam or floating sludge to separate impurities and purify the wastewater. Flotation is primarily used to treat emulsified oil or fine suspended particles with a relative density close to 1 um in wastewater that are difficult to remove through natural sedimentation or floating.
Application Range
1. For industrial wastewater treatment projects, such as petrochemical, textile, dyeing and finishing, electroplating, leather manufacturing, and food industries.
2. Applied for the recovery of organic substances from wastewater, such as in the papermaking, pulp, and fiber recovery from water fields.
