SQS Series Cartridge Water Mixture

SQS Series Gas-Air Mixture InjectorThis is a new type of energy-saving and environmentally friendly product. It heats water by directly mixing steam with water, featuring low noise, no vibration, high heat exchange efficiency, and energy savings. It is widely used in systems for domestic and industrial hot water supply, hot water heating, and thermal deoxygenation. The heater is mainly composed of parts such as nozzles, casings, grill plates, and gaskets. As the heated water passes through the nozzle shaped like a Laval nozzle, steam is injected into the water through numerous oblique holes in the tube wall from the outside of the nozzle. I. Product Overview

The SQS series steam-water mixer is a new energy-saving and environmentally friendly product developed by our company. It heats water by directly mixing steam with it, featuring low noise, no vibration, high heat exchange efficiency, and energy conservation. It is widely used in domestic and industrial hot water heating systems and deoxygenation systems. Long-term operational practice has proven the product's excellent performance. Especially after our company supplies accessories such as elbows, various valves, gauges, pumps, and thermostats to the users, it has brought great convenience to them while ensuring the normal operation of the system.

II. Structure and Principle

The mixer is primarily composed of parts such as the nozzle, housing, sieve plate, and gaskets. As heated water passes through the nozzle, which resembles a Laval nozzle, steam is released from the outside of the nozzle through numerous oblique holes in the tube wall and mixes instantly with the water in high-speed flow to achieve the purpose of heating the water. By adjusting the steam side valve (manual or electric regulating valve), the desired temperature of hot water can be obtained.

Section 3: Job Characteristics

For different models and specifications of heaters, to heat water to various temperatures, the required steam quantity under the rated flow rate D1 (t/h) can be calculated using the following formula:

D0=D1C1(T2-T1)/(i0"-C2T2)=D1(qT2-qT1)/(i"-C2T2)

C1 - Specific heat of water at T1 temperature (KJ/Kg·℃)

C2 - Specific heat of water at T2 temperature (KJ/Kg·℃)

T1 - Water Temperature into Heater (°C)

Installation and Usage Instructions

(1) Usage Conditions of the Equipment:

Safety Operating Conditions: Steam Pressure Entering the Heater

SQS-4~SW-24 P0≤1.6MPa, SQS-32~SQS-48 P0≤1.0MPa

2. Optimal operating conditions:

SQS-4 to SQS-24, P1+0.05 ≤ P0 ≤ 0.6 MPa. Where: P0——Steam working pressure (MPa)

SQS-32 to SQS-48, P1 + 0.05 ≤ P0 ≤ 0.35 MPa, P1 - Inlet Pressure (MPa)

For SQS-32 to SQS-48 products in the circulating system, if the incoming water pressure is high (when it cannot meet the condition of P1+0.05≤P0, the heater should be installed on the suction side of the pump, and hot water circulation should be used.

Loop pump, ensuring its smooth operation.

3. SQS-32 to SQS-48 models should typically be mounted on a ground support or pedestal, with a load capacity of 500Kg. SQS-4 to SQS-24 models are usually installed on wall-mounted brackets or other metal supports.

5. Start/Stop

In an open system, first open the water side valve; then open the steam valve; when stopping operation, close the steam valve first, followed by the water side valve.

b. In the circulating system, the pipeline valves for water are typically open, with only the pumps being started and stopped. Therefore, when putting into operation, start the pumps first, then open the steam valve; when stopping, close the steam valve first, then turn off the pumps.

6. For hot water heating systems prone to frequent power outages, a high-temperature solenoid valve should be installed on the steam pipeline. When power is available, the solenoid valve remains at normal temperature; when there is a power outage, the solenoid valve closes.

Location, automatically cuts off the gas source, ensuring system safety.

7. To prevent water from entering the steam pipe, a check valve should be installed near the heater section of the steam pipe.

8. Water Pressure Loss: This heater is installed on the outlet side of the circulating pump. When steam is not added, its pressure loss is 50 KPa; when installed on the inlet side of the pump, without steam added,

The pressure loss is approximately 0.15 MPa. After adding temperature difference steam, the pressure loss is zero.

9. When using superheated steam as the heat source, to reduce noise, methods such as step-by-step heating (segmented heating) or steam temperature reduction can be adopted.

10. There may be a slight water hammer when starting the equipment, but it will disappear quickly on its own.

11. In an open system, the incoming water pressure P1 exceeds 2.0 kg/cm2. When using heating steam as the heat source, it should be heated in sections.
