A wet electrostatic precipitator is an efficient atmospheric pollution control device that combines the dual advantages of wet dust removal and electrostatic dust removal, widely used in the flue gas purification processes of industries such as power, chemical, metallurgy, and building materials. Its core principle involves using a high-voltage electric field to ionize the gas, producing a large number of positive and negative ions. These ions attach to dust particles, causing them to become charged and then collected by the electrodes, thereby achieving dust removal. Additionally, the wet design, through spray water mist or a recirculating water system, further enhances the collection efficiency of fine particles, aerosols, and heavy metals, particularly suitable for treating flue gas environments with high temperatures, high humidity, or corrosive gases.
