Winch and Major Component Inspection and Maintenance

1. Routine Inspection and Maintenance of General Gearbox Winches

Regularly inspect all bolts, rivets, pins, and other connecting parts for looseness or detachment, with particular attention to the bolts on bearing mounts and anchor bolts. If any are loose, they should be tightened immediately, and missing parts should be replaced promptly.

(2) Regularly inspect the gear meshing condition of the reducer, check for any gear movement, excessive wear on the teeth, and for severe damage such as cracks or broken teeth; ensure the oil level in the oil tank is sufficient, and check for any signs of oil degradation or sedimentation.

Regularly inspect the lubricating oil pump's operation, ensure oil flow in all lubrication areas is unobstructed and quantitatively consistent, check if the oil rings are rotating, and verify that the oil temperature is normal. If not, adjustments or replacements should be made promptly.

(4) Regularly inspect the flexibility and normal operation of the brake system components, including the brake wheel, brake disc, brake pads, transmission mechanism, and hydraulic station. Ensure the gap between the brake blocks and discs (or wheels) is within the specified limits, verify the proper functioning of the safety brake, check if the brake handle still has a 1/4 reserve stroke when applied, and confirm that the brake shoe weight is not obstructed by foreign objects. Also, check if the disc brake's conical spring is functioning. If any issues are found, address and adjust them promptly.

Regularly inspect the depth indicator screw and nut for movement, test the deceleration alarm and over-tension protection switch. If there is any unresponsive action, adjustments and tightening should be made promptly.

(6) Inspect the burn damage of contact points on the main command controller, solenoid contactor, various relay signal devices, etc. If there is any burn damage, the contacts should be promptly filed or replaced.

(7) Inspect the rope winding on the drum for neatness, ensure the rope end is securely fastened, and review records of rope breaks and wear.

(8) Inspect the coupling for looseness, deformation, and missing parts. Check the axial movement and clearance of the coupling, as well as the radial displacement and face tilt to ensure they meet specifications. Replace damaged elastic O-rings, and replenish any missing bolts, nuts, washers, and other fasteners that have come loose.

Regularly wipe equipment and sweep away floating dust and debris to maintain a clean and shiny surface.

Daily Inspection and Maintenance of Explosion-Proof Hydraulic Winches

(1) Carefully inspect the bolts, pins, nuts, and other connecting parts of the winch for any signs of looseness or detachment, and address any issues promptly.

(2) Inspect the uniformity of the disc brake lever release when no load is applied, ensuring the gaps are essentially the same and do not exceed the specified limit; check if the emergency braking operation of the test pedal is functioning normally.

(3) Inspect the operation of the axial plunger pump and vane pump for proper functioning, checking for any vibration or noise. Observe whether the winch drum can achieve reverse rotation when the handle is slightly turned in both forward and reverse directions.

(4) Check if the oil level indicator in the fuel tank has reached the specified position (or marking), ensure the oil temperature meets the required standards, and verify that the coolant passing through the radiator is sufficient and unobstructed.

Regularly clean the oil sumps and filters, strictly prohibit the presence of solid free particles in the oil sumps, and promptly expel excessive air bubbles from the hydraulic oil.

(6) Inspected the screw and nut transmission of the depth indicator and tested the over-reel protection switch.

Ensure the wire rope is neatly arranged on the drum and that the rope ends are securely fastened.

(8) Carefully inspect all pipeline valves and joints for any oil leakage; tighten and address any non-compliant issues promptly.

Ensure that all indicator gauges on the operating panel are functioning properly, test the responsiveness and accuracy of all operational buttons and switches, inspect for any burn damage on the electrical switches and contacts. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately or replaced.

Regularly clean and maintain equipment, ensuring a hygienic working environment and keeping the machines bright and clean.
