Based on the customer's on-site shelf conditions, we offer periodic safety and load-bearing inspections for shelves, providing a one-stop solution for shelf inspection and acceptance.
Why is it necessary to conduct shelf safety inspections?
The warehouse has experienced frequent conflicts, overloads, and fatigue during its long-term service. Ultimately affects structural safety and load-bearing capacity; the shelving system has potential safety and hazard risks.
1. Initial deviation to the shelf, deviations caused by long-term load are greater, exceeding the range allowed by safety standards.
2. Settlement-induced inclination or deviation of the floor level
3. Frequent access operations can lead to the relaxation and detachment of the structure.
4. If safety protection equipment is not provided or is inadequate, it may easily lead to operational accidents.
5. Damaged structures and auxiliary parts were not replaced immediately.
Rack Safety Inspection
Inspect columns and beams for deformation and damage.
2. Inspect the foot guards in front of the aisle columns for integrity and determine if a replacement is needed.
3. Check if the steel buckle is properly secured and if the safety pin is intact or missing.
4. Check if the ground expansion bolts of the fixed upright posts are loose.
5. Inspect the distribution of spacers for evenness, check for any missing or damaged parts.
6. Inspect for any warping or damage to the shelf construction.
7. Load testing, stability testing, etc.
Rack Load Testing
Shelving can experience bending and deformation of the load-bearing beams and a reduction in the distance between uprights after supporting heavy loads. If the shelving design is inadequate or the load is excessively heavy, it can lead to plastic deformation, meaning that after the heavy loads are removed, the distance between the load-bearing beams and uprights does not return to its original state, severely affecting the shelf's lifespan. Based on the measured mechanical properties of the shelving structural materials, a reasonable load-bearing calculation model is established according to the existing loads, usage conditions, and structural system, to verify the current structural bearing capacity.
Rack stability testing
1. The overall shelves are sturdy, coordinated, and aesthetically pleasing, with overall dimensions matching the drawings.
2. The overall shelves, cross beams, and columns are securely connected.
3. The shelves are securely fastened to the ground.
Other Rack Inspection Contents
