Safety Precautions for Operating a Plastic Shredder

　　1. Ensure the plastic shredder and power unit are securely mounted. It's best to fix them to a concrete foundation for long-term fixed operation; if mobile operation of the plastic shredder is required, the unit should be installed on a base made of angle iron, with the motor and the shredder's belt pulley grooves aligned on the same rotational plane.

　　Ensure that mechanical fasteners are securely tightened after equipment installation, and tighten any loose ones immediately. Also, check the belt tension to ensure it is appropriate.

　　Before starting the crusher, manually rotate the rotor to check if the teeth, hammers, and rotor movement are smooth and reliable. Inspect for any collision inside the crushing chamber, ensure the rotation direction of the rotor matches the arrow direction on the machine, and verify that the power unit and plastic crusher are properly lubricated.

　　Do not arbitrarily change the belt pulley to prevent excessive speed from causing an explosion in the crushing chamber or insufficient speed from affecting the efficiency of the crushing machine.

　　After the plastic shredder is started, it should be allowed to run empty for 2 to 3 minutes before feeding materials, ensuring there are no abnormal signs.

　　6. Always monitor the plastic shredder's operation during work. Firstly, ensure the feeding is even to prevent blockages in the shredding chamber; secondly, avoid overloading the machine for extended periods. If vibrations, unusual noises, excessive temperatures in the bearings or housing, or material being ejected are observed, immediately shut down and inspect the machine. Resolve any issues before resuming operation.
