Simple Problem Analysis of Driers

The dryer's heating relies solely on the conversion of air flow within the heating chamber to evaporate moisture, thus the heating chamber must have excellent sealing. If the sealing of the dryer's heating chamber is found to be inadequate, we can adjust and weld the head cylinder with the dryer cylinder, then bolt the split-type baffle ring onto the head cylinder. Next, place the sealing flange in the appropriate position, secure it to the boiling furnace frame, and fill the outer circle with sealing bricks. Then, install the spring plates using a press block. To prevent the spring plates from damaging the cylinder, a 8mm thick ordinary steel tube sleeve is fitted around the cylinder at the seventh position, and a heavy object is hung with a wire rope around the spring plates. This treatment ensures the tightness of the heating chamber's seal.

2. During the operation of the dryer, the drum exhibits movement due to the loose fit of the concave joint side of the roller ring. The solution is to use a pad to maintain even and proper tension between the roller ring and the concave joint. Note that over-tightening can lead to accidents.

The dryer's chain experienced a breakage, primarily due to the excessive load carried by the scraper during operation, as well as corrosion from water in the machine slot, which weakens the chain, leading to a subsequent breakage of another chain. Of course, reducing the quality of the chain manufacturing to cut production costs and increase profits can also cause chain breakage. However, users must pay attention to the maintenance of the chain while using the dryer and appropriately increase the material to avoid overloading the chain.

4. Materials do not undergo "reciprocating movement" within the drum of the dryer, as "reciprocating movement" and "block multi-loop movement" are two different concepts in the drying process. As a result, the materials are quickly drawn away by the air, leading to an excessively low storage of materials in the drum, which reduces both dynamic and static contact areas between the materials and the hot air.

5. Cause of insufficient temperature in the dryer: the exhaust vent is opened too wide, causing excessive air extraction. Solution: Cover half of the filter screen with a half sheet of cardboard and partially close the air door.

6. Cause of low speed in the drum lining of the dryer: insufficient tension of the triangle belt. Solution: Adjust the adjustable components to increase tension.
