By comparing coatings on surfaces that have been meticulously prepared versus those with a general, less thorough preparation, the lifespan can vary by 4-5 times using the sunbathing method. There are many methods for surface preparation, but the most widely used methods are solvent treatment, acid washing, manual tools, and power tools. Sandblasting Process Stage The sandblasting process utilizes compressed air as the power source to form a high-speed jet, which propel the abrasive material at high speed onto the surface of the workpiece to be treated. This changes the surface of the workpiece, as the impact and cutting effect of the abrasive on the surface result in a certain level of cleanliness and varying roughness, thereby improving the mechanical properties of the workpiece surface.
