Part Two: Project Background
PG Group was originally a central enterprise directly managed by the State Council's Commission for Supervision and Administration of State Assets. It is the largest titanium raw material supplier and the most comprehensive titanium processing enterprise in China, as well as a key producer of railway steel, seamless steel tubes, and special steel.
The company has been experiencing issues with a large volume of iron shavings and metal chips generated during the machining process, which has become a burden. There is a designated area for storing these shavings, but due to the high daily production, the site can no longer accommodate the waste. Urgently, a baling process is needed to reduce the space occupied. Additionally, the metal chips contain a significant amount of cutting oil, and their indiscriminate disposal would lead to soil and water pollution, severely impacting the ecological environment. Collection and centralized treatment are also required.

Part Three: Customer Needs
Equipment Requirements: 1. Iron chip daily processing capacity ≥ 2.5 tons, reducing the occupied area for iron chip storage, facilitating stacking and transportation; 2. Ensure that compressed iron cakes are not easily dislodged and there are no leaks when stationary, meeting environmental protection standards; 3. Contain both lumped and shavings-like iron chips, capable of automatic crushing; 4. Separate cutting oil from iron chips and collect centrally; 5. Achieve automation in iron chip processing, requiring only 1-2 personnel for the配套 production line, reducing labor costs; 6. Design a reasonable layout scheme based on the workshop area.

Part IV: Solutions
After multiple communications with the client and on-site inspections, we understood the client's objectives and recommended the entire iron chip processing solution, which includes a material lifting hoist, an MSA-F600 crusher, two chain plate conveyors, a centralized feeding silo, a BM-2013 briquetting machine, and a chip liquid purification collection box.
Firstly, a customized layout scheme for the site resolved the issue of space limitations; the production line is equipped with an automatic loader for iron chip storage, and can automatically handle iron chips in a timed and quantified manner, achieving a fully automatic operation from feeding to pressing. It is also equipped with a single-axis crusher to address the problem of lumpy and shavings-like iron chips in the waste material. The entire treatment line features an overall sealed design and comes with four liquid collection devices, ensuring that there is no leakage of waste liquids or iron chips during the production process. The oil content of the cakes is below 5%, and they are free of drips after standing, which guarantees a clean production environment and passes environmental reviews.

Shavings, when compressed, expel cutting oil. The cake has an oil content below 5%, remains drip-free when left undisturbed, and the cutting oil is collected centrally for secondary use.
3. Economic Benefits
The iron filings, after being processed through the briquetting line equipment, save 5,000 yuan in outsourcing costs daily; the recycling rate for the cutting oil reaches 70% through secondary utilization.

Customers sourced solutions through multiple channels and conducted on-site inspections of several suppliers before ultimately choosing NPI. The reason is that NPI is currently the only enterprise in China with the research, development, and production capabilities for crushing, baling, and deoiling products.
