Motor Vehicle Signal Lights and Non-Motor Vehicle Signal Lights

The vehicle traffic signals consist of a set of three lights—red, yellow, and green—each in the form of a plain circular unit, guiding vehicle traffic.

The non-motorized traffic signals consist of a set of three circular units, each with a bicycle symbol inside, featuring red, yellow, and green lights to guide the movement of non-motorized vehicles.

When the green light is on, vehicles are permitted to proceed, but turning vehicles must not obstruct the passage of straight-moving vehicles or pedestrians being cleared.

On yellow, vehicles already past the stop line may proceed.

Red light means stop; no vehicles allowed.

At intersections without non-motorized vehicle signal lights or pedestrian crossing signal lights, non-motorized vehicles and pedestrians should follow the instructions of the motor vehicle signal lights.

When the red light is on, vehicles turning right may proceed if they do not impede the movement of vehicles or pedestrians being allowed to pass.

Pedestrian crossing signals consist of a set of lights with a red standing pedestrian figure inside for the red light and a green walking pedestrian figure inside for the green light, guiding pedestrian traffic.

The green light allows pedestrians to cross the crosswalk.

2. When the red light is on, pedestrians are prohibited from entering the crosswalk, but those already in the crosswalk may continue through or wait at the centerline of the road.
