Bubble film, also known as air cushion film, bubble paper, and bubble wrap, is made primarily from high-pressure polyethylene, with additional ingredients like whitening agents and opening agents. It is extruded and formed into bubbles at around 230 degrees Celsius. It is a lightweight, transparent, non-toxic, and odorless new type of plastic packaging material that provides moisture-proof, shock-absorbing, and thermal insulation for products.

Puffed film, due to its middle layer being filled with air, is lightweight, transparent, and elastic, featuring bubble membrane properties such as sound insulation, shockproofing, and anti-abrasion. It is widely used in anti-shock cushion packaging for electronics, instruments, ceramics, crafts, home appliances, automotive interiors, kitchenware, furniture, paint and varnish products, glassware, and precision instruments. It can be made into bubble bags, bubble kraft paper envelopes, car sunshades, heat-insulating seat pads, and thermal insulation materials. By adding different additives to the plastic raw materials, anti-static and various types of puffed film can be produced. Anti-static puffed film is used for packaging electronic components and assemblies, such as boards and cards, preventing static electricity while also providing shockproof cushioning.
