The Sludge Press Filter is a filtration equipment that achieves solid-liquid separation through mechanical force, categorizing as an environmental protection machinery. It is primarily used for industrial sludge dewatering in industries such as wastewater treatment, papermaking, and food processing. Its core function is to form a dry sludge cake by mixing the hydrated sludge with flocculants and sequentially squeezing through a gravity dewatering zone, a wedge-shaped pre-compression zone, and an "S"-shaped squeezing zone. It also enhances dewatering efficiency with automatic correction of the filter belt and a triple dewatering zone design.
The equipment features a hot-dip galvanized corrosion-resistant frame, rubber-covered rollers, and stainless steel water collection trays to enhance corrosion resistance, operates with low noise, and uses less chemical reagent. Some models, such as the hydraulic filter press, are equipped with a PLC interface for automated control. The roller pressure gradient design is scientifically engineered, with a processing capacity of up to 3-25t/h, and a filtration area of 15.35-54m², capable of reducing sludge moisture content to 60-70%. It is suitable for dewatering treatment of high-moisture materials such as urban sewage, pharmaceuticals, electroplating, and sand washing tailings. Daily operation requires adherence to standardized procedures such as filter cloth cleaning and pneumatic system maintenance to ensure long-term stable operation.

Working Principle
Wet sludge is transported to the sludge mixing tank via sludge pumps, where it is simultaneously dosed with a flocculent for thorough mixing and reaction. It then flows into a belt press filter, where the sludge is evenly distributed over the gravity dewatering zone. Under the double-directional guidance of the rake and the force of gravity, the sludge rapidly loses its free water as it moves with the dewatering belt. Due to the longer design of the gravity dewatering zone, maximum gravity dewatering is achieved. The sludge flipped over enters an ultra-long wedge-shaped pre-pressing dewatering zone, gently holding the sludge from the gravity zone to form a sandwich-like angular layer. It undergoes a sequential and slow pre-pressing filtration, reducing the residual free water in the sludge layer to a minimum. As the upper and lower filter belts slowly advance, the distance between them decreases, and the middle sludge layer hardens. Passing through the pre-pressing dewatering large-diameter filter rolls, a significant amount of free water is removed, allowing the sludge cake to smoothly enter the squeezing dewatering zone and proceed to the "S" squeezing section. In the "S" squeezing section, the sludge is sandwiched between the upper and lower filter cloths, subjected to repeated pressing by several squeezing rolls. As the upper and lower filter belts pass through the wave-shaped path formed by the interlaced rolls, alternating positions create shearing forces on the held sludge cake, squeezing out most of the remaining water. The dried sludge cake is then scraped off and conveyed to the sludge storage area by a belt conveyor or a shaftless spiral conveyor.
